RUNG R000 — MAIN INCOMER

Industrial Control Systems Wired Right the First Time

JHR (S) ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is a computer integrated systems design house operating from its Kim Hoe Point workshop on Kelantan Lane in Singapore. We plan, build and commission the control networks, automation software and edge platforms that keep production lines, utilities and facilities running. Every circuit we hand over is documented, tested and labelled so the next engineer can read it as clearly as we did.

JHR (S) ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. schedules quarterly system audits for every client this season, and each audit closes with a signed as-built drawing set.

SIX RUNG PROGRAM

The Six Services That Carry Every Project

From the first survey walk to the final commissioning window, our work is organised as six connected rungs. Each one is engineered by the JHR (S) ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. team at the Kim Hoe Point workshop and delivered with full schematics, test records and operator training.

Industrial Systems Integration

We bring PLCs, drives, sensors, safety relays and human machine interfaces into one coherent control philosophy. Our engineers map every signal from field device to operator screen, then build and bench-test the panels at the Kim Hoe Point workshop before anything reaches site. The result is a plant that starts up predictably and behaves the same way on day one and year five. Integration is where mechanical intent, electrical reality and software logic are made to agree.

Automation Software Engineering

Our software team writes structured, version-controlled control code and supervisory applications that operators can actually follow. We favour readable function blocks, clear alarms and sequenced startup logic over clever shortcuts that nobody can maintain. Documentation travels with the code, so future changes are an edit rather than an archaeology project. Every release is simulated, tagged and archived for the lifetime of the asset.

SCADA and Control Network Design

We design the supervisory layer and the industrial network beneath it as one system, not two purchases stitched together. Topology, VLAN segmentation, redundancy and time synchronisation are chosen for the plant footprint and the recovery time it can actually tolerate. Screens are laid out around operator decisions during a shift, with alarm rationalisation that reduces noise instead of adding to it. The delivered network is documented down to the patch panel.

Edge Computing and IoT Deployment

We deploy ruggedised edge nodes that collect, buffer and forward production data without depending on a fragile internet link. Gateways are configured for store-and-forward, local dashboards and controlled upstream publishing, so a cloud outage never stops local visibility. Device identity, certificates and update paths are planned from the first node rather than bolted on later. The outcome is trustworthy data at the point where decisions are made.

Operational Technology Security Assessment

Operational technology fails differently from office IT, so we assess it differently. Our reviews look at segmentation, remote access, removable media, account hygiene and recovery posture across the control environment. Findings are ranked by operational consequence and paired with practical remediation the plant can schedule during a shutdown. We never run disruptive scans against a live process without a written window and a rollback plan.

Managed Technical Support

After handover, JHR (S) ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. stays reachable through a managed support agreement covering response targets, spares guidance and planned health checks. Our team keeps the asset register and drawing set current, so a call at an awkward hour begins with knowledge rather than guesswork. Support visits include operator refreshers and a short written report with recommended next actions. The relationship is designed to outlast the warranty period.

COMMISSIONING SEQUENCE

How a JHR Project Runs Rung by Rung

  1. 01

    Survey and Scope

We walk the plant, read existing drawings where they exist, and agree the boundaries of the work in writing before any panel is opened.

  2. 02

    Design and Build

Schematics, network diagrams and control philosophy are produced at the Kim Hoe Point workshop, followed by panel build and bench testing.

  3. 03

    Configure and Simulate

Control code, SCADA screens and edge gateways are configured and simulated against a test rig before they meet live plant.

  4. 04

    Commission and Hand Over

Site commissioning runs to a written checklist, ending with operator training, as-built drawings and a signed handover pack.

Why Clients Keep the JHR Circuit Closed

JHR (S) ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. works from a single workshop on Kelantan Lane, which means the people who design your system are the same people who build, test and commission it. That continuity removes the handover gaps where errors usually hide. We measure our own work by how little explanation it needs later.

We also refuse to leave documentation as an afterthought. Every project concludes with labelled terminals, current schematics and a drawing register the maintenance team can trust. Call us at +17758545673 or write to support@jhrengineering.mom to discuss a scope.

Bring Your Control Problem to the Workshop

Tell us what the plant needs to do. We will tell you honestly whether it is a retrofit, a rebuild or something simpler.
